In one week, on September 3rd, I will officially be the mother of a 2-year-old! I can hardly believe it has been 2 years since this little lady came into my life and gave me the pleasure of becoming a mother. This evening after a meal out as a family, my husband and I took little E out to a park to "try" and capture some 2 year photos of her (she is notorious for avoiding my camera at all costs-so I wasn't very hopeful). After a little while and some tears after not wanting to leave the fountain she was playing in, I was actually able to get some pretty great shots of my princess. I love her so much and am so excited to share her with you all. World, meet my favorite (soon-to-be) 2-year-old!
{a garden session}
Last spring, to help out a friend, I donated a full session for a silent auction and today I met the winners! The M family met me at a local park for a family photo session they were excited to have won. I was so happy to have met them and couldn't get enough of their adorable family. Little M's eyes were gorgeous to photograph and when they were all together they just radiated love. I'm excited to continue our friendship and will hopefully get together soon so our little ladies can play (I have a feeling they will get along very well). Enjoy a few photos from our session today!
{round 2 with the c family}
It's been almost a year since I last photographed the C family, which is hard to believe. Not only has their little man Ty gotten bigger and more handsome, his parents were still looking as gorgeous as ever. This time was special though, Ty's nana was able to join in on the fun and I felt so lucky to catch a few shots with her too this time. I love this family as if they were my own, and I am so happy to share another fabulous session with everyone. Here is round 2 with the C family!
{the musician senior}
I had the pleasure of spending the morning a few weekends ago with a good friend and co-worker's son Evan for a senior photo session. We had a lot of fun walking around Eastern's campus to capture these photos. I especially love the blue tile wall (outside the school's science building) and it sure didn't hurt that I had a very cooperative and easy to work with model (sorry girls, I think he may be taken). To end our shoot, we were able to get into the university's music building where I was not only able to hear Evan play the piano (he is AMAZING!), but I got to capture him while practicing one of his favorite hobbies. What a fun shoot, here a few of the handsome senior and his musical talents!
{baby b}
One of my dearest friends of at least 16 years is having her first baby and I had the pleasure of doing a maternity session with her. She was gorgeous and her hubby was handsome and together they made one dynamic duo- I especially loved their idea to use a large balloon to represent their new addition to their little family, baby b. It was a perfect Seattle day and I loved it so much. I couldn't be more excited for them and can't wait to meet their new little man! Love to J and G and baby b!
{cj the senior}
When I met CJ I was so excited to work with him not only because he has impeccable taste in clothing (good job picking out your outfits!), he was incredibly fun and easy going. If all teens are as awesome as CJ, I think I just might want to do only Senior portraits forever! CJ, his mom, and little sister, took us all over to some of their favorite places they had "scoped" out prior to our session and boy oh boy was I impressed! I am so excited about this Senior session that I just had to post a few of my favorites from this morning's session of CJ. Enjoy!
If you know a senior that needs portraits send them my way! What a great time!
