{the s family}

I recently was able to meet up with Mrs. S and her kids (son, daughter, and daughter-in-law) for a local photo session.  It was so fun to work with them and I loved their light-hearts and easy-going attitudes as we trekked all over the park for their session. I work with Mrs. S in my school district and so it is always fun to see my coworkers outside of the school setting-- especially when they introduce me to their amazing families.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from their session, enjoy. :)

{baby o}

My amazing neighbor, who I love dearly, just had her third (and final...wink wink) baby a couple weeks ago. Baby O weighed in at a whopping 5lbs. 2oz, and I have been taking pictures of her over the course of the last week or so (she's about that same size now after losing weight in the first week or so).  She is so tiny, so precious, and my husband, daughter, and I can hardly get enough of her sweetness. I don't usually post more than a few photos of my clients, but she is so adorable, how could I possibly narrow it down? So, you are getting all 10 of my top favorites.....If you don't have kids, you will want them after looking at her, and if you do have kids, get ready to have the overwhelming desire to have more after looking at this sweetie. Okay, that might not be true for all of you, but seriously- this kid is cute! Enjoy!

{my little sister}

Yes, this really is my sister. I remember when we brought her home from the hospital and now I'm taking her senior portraits? How can this be? I loved working with her, mostly because I could boss her around- just kidding! I did love working with her since she is photogenic and adorable as well. We had fun at the beach and even spent some time at my old (her current) high school in Mountlake Terrace. I just can't believe she will graduate this spring- crazy!

{the g family}

I remember taking pictures of little baby c about a year ago when he was a little pumpkin....literally- he was dressed as a pumpkin at my house for a Halloween playgroup. Now, he's growing up and was honored to take some one-year-old shots of just him, as well as some of the whole family.  It was a nice, hot, summer day in Spokane and he sure was adorable.  We were able to get a few smiles and great looks for the camera and of course his parents were naturals as well! Here are a couple cute shots of the G family.

{my big sis}

Okay....she's not really my big sis....not through blood anyway, but she is my "big sis" from my sorority in college.  I was able to meet up with her and her adorable little family while on my trip to Seattle a few weekends ago.  I got to meet her adorable boys finally and I loved them instantly! So cute and so much character. I loved how the session turned out and picked out a few faves to share.

{the d family}

One of my {mini-sessions} I was lucky to do while in Seattle was with the adorable D family! They have an adorable little guy and they even wore matching Seattle Sounders gear for a portion of their session.  I hope to work with them again soon.

{seattle senior session}

When I was home a few weekends ago, I was able to get a few amazing sessions in with some Seattle area friends and family. Among those sessions, were these two gorgeous seniors! They wanted to do a dual senior session and it was fabulous! We  worked quickly through 3 different outfits and all over the park and beach and ended up with some beautiful shots.  Here are a few sneak peeks for J and N while their session is on it's way in the mail to them!

{my favorite 2-year-old}

In one week, on September 3rd, I will officially be the mother of a 2-year-old! I can hardly believe it has been 2 years since this little lady came into my life and gave me the pleasure of becoming a mother. This evening after a meal out as a family, my husband and I took little E out to a park to "try" and capture some 2 year photos of her (she is notorious for avoiding my camera at all costs-so I wasn't very hopeful).  After a little while and some tears after not wanting to leave the fountain she was playing in, I was actually able to get some pretty great shots of my princess.  I love her so much and am so excited to share her with you all. World, meet my favorite (soon-to-be) 2-year-old!
